Timothy Louis
President & Chief Executive Officer
Tim Louis is President and Chief Executive Officer of Desert Capital Investments, where he leads the firm’s investments in early-stage companies across education technology, medical technology and consumer ventures.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Mr. Louis earned BA and MS degrees from Northwestern University and went on to own and operate a diagnostic audiology private practice in Houston, Texas. He returned to Phoenix in 1996 and earned an MBA in Finance and Financial Markets from Arizona State University.
He has a long record of civic service in Phoenix. A member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds, he served as Tournament Chairman of the Phoenix Open in 2008 and as Big Chief, the organization’s president, in 2009. He is Board Treasurer of the Valleywise Health Foundation and holds trustee and board leadership roles with several educational and civic institutions.
